Standing alone in the middle of the dark
no moon, no light. Just darkness
a starless sky and the wind blows
The waves of heaven break
and a single firefly passes by
adorned with spell to ravage my world
Soon the firefly is gone
leaving me in the darkest of nights
the tiny fly made me anticipate
a sunrise with the finest of lights
lights shimmering your gleaming eyes
my beautiful thing, so much at ease
allure of caressing breeze in touch gentle
you beautiful being, gracing charm
you walk me the miles in your smiles
not ever to understate or be riven
my shining knight, my guide and my stairway
lead me to the love of a true life.
